I believe if research is conducted and actioned upon throughout a project, a solid product will emerge. In the case of these scenarios below, each client sought to understand their existing sites' strengths and weaknesses.

Guided by Jakob Nielsen's list of heuristics, I am currently working on a research project for ORCASOUND.
As part of the project, I lead a team of UX Designers and Researchers to reshape their Listening Web Application in agile environment.
Stay tuned for updates in the near future as this project progresses.
My design process included bench-marking of current state, journey mapping, user flows, responsive design iteration and more to name a few.

In this project, I was focused on a high level evaluation to capture some of the main issues of this site.
Some of my suggestions included:

creating an effective style guide
improving site visual hierarchy and navigation

As a Junior UX designer at WebDiva Consultants Inc. I prepared an exhaustive report outlining the issues on this website, complete with severity ratings (red/yellow/blue ) and recommendations for each issue that was guided by Jakob Nielsen's list of heuristics and with directions from my senior leads.
At the time, this project was completed under NDA until launch; some images were removed or blurred.
